Privacy Policy
Your information, handled with care.
What we collect when you book a class or send us a note, who it goes to, and how to get it removed. Written to be read, not skimmed past.
Last updated: August 12, 2026
The Short Version
- We collect what we need to book you into a class and reply when you write to us — nothing else.
- Your booking and payment details are handled by WellnessLiving, our studio management platform. We never see or store your full card number.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our own analytics turn themselves off before recording anything.
- Want your information out of our systems? Email hello@thepilatesmoment.com and we'll take care of it.
What we collect.
When you book a class or buy a package
Booking and purchasing happen inside the WellnessLiving widgets embedded on our schedule, pricing, shop, and free-class pages. When you use them, you provide your name, email address, phone number, and payment details, and you may sign a liability waiver. That information goes to WellnessLiving, which runs our studio management, scheduling, and payments. Card numbers are processed by WellnessLiving and its payment processor — they are never sent to us and we do not store them. We can see your booking history, class attendance, and contact details through our WellnessLiving account so we can run the studio.
When you use the contact form
Our contact form is hosted by Zoho Forms. What you type into it — typically your name, email address, phone number, and your message — is submitted to Zoho and forwarded to our studio inbox. We use it to answer you, and to follow up if your question needs it.
When you just browse
Like most websites, ours records some technical information automatically: the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, roughly where you are (city-level, derived from your IP address), your device and browser type, and the site or search that sent you here. Two systems do this — Google Analytics and our own first-party measurement — and both are described in the next section.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for health conditions, injuries, or medical history through this website. If you choose to tell an instructor something about your body so they can teach you safely, that stays between you and the studio — it is not collected by, stored in, or transmitted through this site.
Cookies and analytics.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and move through the site — which pages get read, which ones get abandoned, whether the schedule is easy to reach. It sets cookies in your browser and shares data with Google. It tells us about visits in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you personally.
Our own measurement
We also run a first-party analytics script that records pageviews and interactions with the booking widgets, so we can tell when something on the site is broken or confusing. It runs from our own domain rather than a third-party one, and it deliberately does nothing at all in three cases: when the page is loaded inside a frame, when it is not served over HTTP or HTTPS, and when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. In that last case it does not merely stop transmitting — it never starts observing and never loads the rest of its code.
Turning it off
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or enable Global Privacy Control — supported natively in some browsers and via extensions in others. Blocking analytics does not affect your ability to book a class.
Who else sees it.
We share personal information only with the services that make the studio run, and only with what each one needs:
- WellnessLiving — scheduling, memberships, payments, and waivers. Booking a class means creating a record with them.
- Zoho Forms — delivery of contact form submissions.
- Google Analytics — website traffic measurement.
- Vercel — hosting. Standard server logs, including IP addresses, are generated when the site is served.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the data it receives. Beyond them, we disclose personal information only when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our clients and staff.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Your choices.
You can ask us to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it entirely. You can unsubscribe from studio emails using the link at the bottom of any of them, or by asking us directly.
Email hello@thepilatesmoment.com and tell us what you need. We will respond within 30 days. If your request touches booking or payment records held by WellnessLiving, we will pass it along to them on your behalf.
One limit worth stating plainly: we may need to keep certain records — a signed waiver, a payment receipt — for as long as the law requires, even after you ask us to delete everything else.
How long we keep things
We keep client records for as long as your account is active, and for 24 months after your last visit, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Contact form submissions are kept for 12 months. Analytics data is retained on Google's and our own standard schedules.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian to book and to sign the studio waiver on their behalf.
Changes, and how to reach us.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced by email to active clients.
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York.
