Our Story · Why We Built This
Built for the way Pilates should feel.
Reformer Pilates is too good to feel like a transaction. So we built the opposite.
The Story
A studio, on purpose.
The Pilates Moment exists because reformer Pilates is too good to feel like a transaction. Most studios have grown into franchises — packed classes, conditional "free" trials, and an instructor who couldn't pick you out of a lineup.
We built the opposite: a small, beautifully designed studio in White Plains where the class is intentionally capped, the first session is genuinely free, and the people behind the front desk know your name.
Reformer Pilates is too good to feel like a transaction.
The Pilates Moment opened in 2026 with one rule — every detail of the experience, from the lighting to the music to the way the instructor cues your breath, should feel intentional. Reformer Pilates already changes how people move through their lives. We just want to make showing up feel as good as the workout itself.
