Yes — absolutely. The free first class is built specifically for people who've never touched a reformer (or haven't in years). Your instructor will walk you through every setting, every spring, and every movement. You leave knowing how the machine works and whether reformer is right for you — no pressure, no upsell.

Comfortable workout clothes you can move in — leggings or shorts that won't ride up, a fitted top so we can see your form, and grippy socks (we sell them at the studio). Skip lotion on your feet and hands. Bring a water bottle. Everything else — reformers, towels, focus — is on us.

Mat Pilates uses only body weight on the floor. Reformer Pilates uses a sliding carriage with adjustable spring resistance — which means you can work strength, mobility, and stability in ways the mat physically can't. Most beginners find reformer more intuitive and more challenging at the same time. It's also gentler on the joints.

Classic Reformer stays close to Joseph Pilates' original method — precise sequencing, intentional pacing, focus on control and breath. Balanced Body is contemporary, more fluid, and choreographed around functional movement and mobility. Both build real strength. Try one of each.

Freeze and cancellation policies live inside your member portal on WellnessLiving. We're flexible — life happens — but we ask for advance notice on cancellations. Class packs expire per pack (2 weeks for single, 30 days for the 5-pack, 45 days for the 10-pack).
